Cameron Highlands is a perfect getaway for those who wish to retreat into the highlands to enjoy the cool fresh mountain air and the green hills. Named after the British Surveyor, William Cameron who discovered the place in 1855, the tea cultivated is among one of the best in the Country. Those who wish to do some activities, can trek in the forest to the waterfall, enjoy drinking tea in quaint English style tea houses or take a 4 wheel drive to the top of the mountain for a breathtaking view of the hills. You can also visit the many flower plantations, as exporting flowers is an increasingly important economic activity.

DAY 01 : DEPART FOR CAMERON HIGHLANDS
Depart by 0830 hours for Cameron Highland, which is located at 1542 meters above sea level. Famed for its tea plantations and cool temperatures. On the way, we will stop at visit a basket weaving cottage industry, Lata Iskandar Waterfall and a native settlement. Enjoy the cool, crisp air of Cameron Highlands beside its wonderful scenery. Tour of Cameron Highlands upon arrival including the tea plantation, tea factory, market place and butterfly farm. Overnight.

DAY 02 : CAMERON HIGHLANDS – FULL DAY DISCOVERY TOUR
ABF. This fascinating tour will cover most of the highlights of the highlands. We will begin by cruising through the “green carpet” of BOH plantation – the pioneer of tea growers in Malaysia. Founded in 1929 by John Archibald Russell, a Scottish, this vast estate is still owned and managed by the family till today. After the guided tour to the factory, we will sample various type of tea in the beautiful landscaped tea house. After the refreshing tea break, our next visit will be the flower and vegetable farming. From the farm we will proceed to visit the villages of our highlands natives – the Semais. Explore the forests of the highlands. This short trek will lead us to the small waterfall where we will have a short dip and a break for lunch. The return journey will take us to a day market where most of the local produce can be found. Overnight. [B/L]

DAY 03 : DEPART FROM CAMERON HIGHLANDS
ABF. AM at leisure. 1300 hrs depart for Kuala Lumpur or Penang.
