Day 01: Arrive in Chennai
Welcome to India ! On arrival a warm welcome at the Chennai airport with Garland and transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.

Chennai previously known as Madras a capital city of Tamil Nadu State and is the fourth largest metro city of our country India. The city grew up around the English settlement of Fort Saint George and steadily absorbed the surrounding villages & towns etc. However, despite the strong British influence, Chennai has hold on to its traditional Tamil Hindu culture and effectively blend it with the foreign influence


Day 02: Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram (120 kms / 4 hrs)
Morning after breakfast head to a guided city tour of Chennai visiting Fort St. George, Marina Beach, Santhome Cathedral etc.

Later embark on your scenic drive to Mahabalipuram via visiting Kanchipuram - One of the seven sacred cities of India, Kanchipuram is appropriately called the golden city of thousand temples, the place served as the capital of the Pallavas the powerful dynasty of south India.

Continue your drive to Mahabalipura, upon arrival check into your hotel for overnight stay.


Day 03: Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry (138 kms / 3 ½ hrs)
After breakfast enjoy explore the Mahabalipuram - a beautiful place lies on the Coromandel coast which faces the Bay of Bengal known for its Shore Temple and Arjune’s Penance is thepride of not only Mahabalipuram and Tamilnadu visiting Shore Temples - One of the earliest structural temples in South India dedicated to lord Shiva and Vishnu.

Later in the afternoon embark on your drive to Pondicherry, upon arrival check into your hotel for overnight stay.


Day 04: Pondicherry - Chidambaram - Tanjore (177 kms / 4 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed for a guided city tour of Pondicherry visiting Sri Aurobindo Ashram located on rue de la Marine, is one of the most well known and wealthiest ashrams in India, with devotees from across the world flocking to it for spiritual salvation. Auroville - or the ‘City of Dawn ’ - was conceived as a lay of research into the ideal of human unity by the Mother, the spiritual collaborator of Sri Aurobindo also visit the heritage buildings etc.

Later embark on your drive to Tanjore.

En-route to Tanjore visit Chidambaram - one of the most ancient and most celebrated of shrines in India. It is a great religious as well as historic and cultural significance.

Continue your drive, upon arrival check into your hotel for overnight stay.


Day 05: Tanjore - Madurai (163 Kms / 4 hrs)
After breakfast enjoy a city tour of Tanjore, which is known as the "Rice bowl of Tamil Nadu" and famous for the Brahadeeswarar Temple (dedicated to Lord Shiva). The temple was constructed more than thousand years ago by the King Rajarajan Cholan, an architect's marvel. Thanjavur was the royal city of the Cholas, Nayaks and the Marathas.

After visit, embark on your drive to Madurai - one of the ancient city of India with a history take you back to the Sangam period of the pre Christian period.

En-route to Madurai, visit the ‘Rock Fort Temple of Trichi which rises abruptly to a height of 273 ft. A steep staircase cut into the rock leads upto the Fort. At the first level are the remnants of a huge hall blasted into ruins in 1772. The next storey is the Mathrubhuteshwarer Shrine dedicated to Shiva. Finally at the top of the hill, the 'Uchhi Pillayar Koil' - a Ganesh Temple offering a commanding view of the city.

Continue your drive to Madurai, upon arrival check into your hotel for 02 night stay.


Day 06: Madurai
This morning, enjoy a city tour of this beautiful city of Temples Madurai visiting the exquisite Meenakshi Temple, Vandiyur Mariamman Teppakulam Temple that you shall to visit if you are in south India also visit the Thirumalai Nayak Palace and Thirupurak Kundram Temple etc.

Evening attend the night ceremony at Meenakshi temple. This is a ceremony that takes place every evening when the temple bronze of Lord Shiva is carried to the bed chamber of Parvati, the procession is accompanied by religious prayer and temple music.


Day 07: Madurai - Thekkady (160 kms / 4 hrs)
Morning after breakfast leave for Thekkady (Periyar) - sprawled over an area of 777 sq. Kms, Periyar tiger reserve is an example of nature’s bounty with great scenic attraction and rich bio-diversity.

Upon arrival check into your hotel for overnight stay.

Later after freshen up enjoy visiting the spice plantations of cardamom, pepper, vanilla, nutmeg, clove, etc are grown in and around of Periyar.


Day 08: Thekkady – Munnar (110 kms / 4 hrs)
After early breakfast, embark on your scenic drive to Munnar, Munnar meaning "Three rivers" is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams Muthirappu (Kannimalayar), Nallathanni and Kundala and is a delightful, small hill station. Munnar was the summer resort of the British Government in the south.

Upon arrival check into your hotel for overnight stay. Later after freshen up enjoy sightseeing of Munnar. Munnar has some of the biggest tea plantations in the world, situated at 1600m above the sea level this hill station leaves you with a cold summer sweetness. Completely dotted with lakes, reservoirs, mountains streams, scabrous rocks, wooded valleys, wavy grass hills, this hill station offers a great variety choices at short intervals.


Day 09: Munnar - Kumarakom (150 kms / 3.5 hrs)
After breakfast, embark on your drive to Kumarakom - popularly known as the rice bowl of Kerala. A cluster of tiny islets on the Vembanad Lake a famous back water of Kerala, Kumarakom is a picturesque unsoiled village. An extremely eye-catching ecstasy of mangrove forests, pea green paddy meadows and coconut coppices intermingled with enthralling waterways and canals.

Upon arrival check into your hotel for overnight stay. Rest of the day at leisure and appreciate the beauty of this town.


Day 10: Kumarakom - Alleppey (by Houseboat)
Morning after your breakfast embark on Kettuvallam - a typical Kerala’s houseboat towards to Alleppey - thru the Vembanadu Lake famous backwaters of Kerala through the various narrow canals, as you cruise along the calm backwaters capture the glimpses of local lifestyle of the people resident by the backwater, fishing etc.

Enjoy staying a traditional house boat for overnight stay.


Day 11: Alleppey – Kochi (65 kms / 1.5 hrs)
After breakfast & tea, disembark from the houseboat and embark on your short drive to Kochi.
Kochi is the natural harbour formed by the famous underwater Malabar mud-banks whose eminence ensures that the rougher the seas are outside the calmer the waters are within the harbour. Vasco-de-Gama placed it on the world map.

Upon arrival check into your hotel for overnight stay. Later enjoy city tour of Kochi visiting the Dutch Palace, the Jewish Synagogue, the Church of St. Francis, the Bolghatty Palace & the famous Chinese fishing nets.

Evening witness the Kathakali dance performance + make up demonstration - Kathkali is a unique dance which has a 2000 year old history with more than 100 different ‘mudras’ or gesture depicting deities, demons, heroes, heroines and kings - each based on episodes from the Mahabharata and Ramayana, the two epic Indian myths.


Day 12: Kochi (Departure)
Today, you will be transferred to Kochi International airport to catch your flight to fly back home.
