Hot spots in Northern Poland: Warsaw-Gdansk-Masuria-Warsaw

Day 1: Arrival
Arrival in Warsaw, Poland’s booming capital with two million inhabitants and a lot of interesting and fascinating monuments and sites. In the evening, guided Old Town walk. Overnight in Warsaw.

Day 2: Warsaw-Torun-Gdansk
Drive to Gdansk via Torun, the birthplace of Nicolaus Copernicus. Sightseeing tour of Torun incl. visit to the Copernicus family house with museum. The city which sits on both banks of the Vistula has the greatest wealth of Gothic architecture in Poland. Its medieval centre with the original urban layout was entered on UNESCO's World Cultural Heritage. Drive to Gdansk and overnight there.

Day 3: Gdansk & Tri-City
During today’s city sightseeing you will admire the very best of a thousand- year-old Gdansk as well as of Gdynia and Sopot, together with Gdansk the so-called Tri-City. Guided walk through the Old Town of Gdansk with its picturesque backstreets and impressive gothic St Mary’s Church. At noon, you visit the Oliwa Cathedral incl. an organ concert. Gdynia is famous for its harbour, where two museum ships are moored and in Sopot there is Europe’s longest pier (512 m). Overnight in Gdansk

Day 4: Gdansk & Tri-City
During today’s city sightseeing you will admire the very best of a thousand- year-old Gdansk as well as of Gdynia and Sopot, together with Gdansk the so-called Tri-City. Day 5: Wolf’s Lair & boat cruise
Drive through the northern part of the Masurian Lakes District. Visit to the Wolf’s Lair - Hitler’s headquarters at Gierloz, which is one of the most sinister places in the region. Afterwards, you visit the monastery of Swieta Lipka. Its Jesuit monastic complex is considered the most beautiful baroque construction in Poland. Built in 1721, its baroque organ has figures of saints and angels that can be put in motion. You will have an opportunity to hear its sound. Last programme of today is a boat cruise on one of the Great Masurian Lakes. Overnight in Mazuria

Day 6: Monastery & Pisz Forest
During today’s sightseeing tour, you will admire the highlights of the southern part of Masuria. Worth a visit is Poland’s summer capital Mikolajki in the middle of large lakes in a beautiful landscape with its yacht harbour and Old Believers monastery in Wojnowo. We drive through the Pisz Forest to reach the Krutynia River, where you can enjoy a boat cruise admiring a unique aquatic fauna and flora. Afterwards, you can try a fresh caught fish in a local restaurant. A guided walking tour through the Pisz Forest gives you an opportunity to get acquainted with unspoiled nature. In the evening, you can take part in the “Farmer’s wedding”. Overnight in Mazuria

Day 7: Masuria-Warsaw
You leave the Masurian Lakes District and drive back to Warsaw. Drive to Poland’s capital Warsaw and city sightseeing tour. The most significant spots are the renovated Old Town, the Royal Castle, the Lazienki Park and the Palace of Wilanow. Along the Royal Route, you will find many old palaces and villas. Well known are the exclusive boutiques on Nowy Swiat Street (New World Street). Overnight in Warsaw

Day 8: Departure
